Athletes In Action
The Nebraska baseball team will be hosting an NCAA regional in Lincoln for the first time in 18 years when the No. 13 overall seed Huskers (42-15) take on South Dakota State (24-31) at 3:00 p.m. this Friday. In the second game on Friday, Arizona State (37-19) will play Ole Miss (36-21) at 8:00 p.m.

Game Of The Week
No. 1-ranked Millard North scored the game-winning run on an RBI triple to right field, in the top of the eighth inning, to propel the Mustangs (26-10) to a 6-5 win over No. 2-ranked Lincoln East (32-3) in the Class A state championship baseball game played at Werner Park last Saturday.

Capturing The Moment
Nebraska’s Hannah Coor had three hits, including a home run, to help the No. 1-ranked Huskers (51-6) win their Super Regional series 2-0 over Oklahoma State (41-17) last Saturday. By winning the Lincoln Regional, Nebraska qualified for the Women’s College World Series for the first time in 13 years.
